When Young Miko sat down to write Do Not Disturb, she had just come off the first tour that kept her away from Añasco, Puerto Rico long enough to feel the distance. The record came from that dislocation, months of tour buses, borrowed rooms, and the particular quiet of being far from where you started. The Late Checkout Tour, her first arena headlining run, carries those themes into 31 dates across 11 countries. Her Houston stop is Saturday, October 24 at Toyota Center.

Young Miko, born María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona in Añasco, Puerto Rico, is a GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-nominated rapper and singer who works in Latin trap and reggaeton, threading Spanglish lyrics through beats that draw from rap, reggaeton, and rock. She began uploading music to SoundCloud in 2017, working as a tattoo artist under the name Samurai Miko for four years to pay for studio time and equipment. Her debut album att. arrived in April 2024. Do Not Disturb (November 7, 2025) broadened her sound and her audience: the record spans dark R&B, Afrobeats, and hype-pop across 16 tracks, debuting at No. 3 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut (USA) and No. 4 globally. It charted on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums, and its lead single “WASSUP” appeared on Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Songs of 2025. One reviewer called it “a cohesive blend of dark R&B, seductive rap and pure hype-pop.” She was named Outstanding Music Artist at the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. She was also the first openly queer Latina featured in a GAP campaign, the brand’s first in Spanish. Before the Late Checkout Tour, she opened eight dates of Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT TOUR and headlined two sold-out nights at Coliseo de Puerto Rico, her arena debut.
