Don Toliver at Toyota Center | August 11, 2026

Houston made Don Toliver, and then stood back while the rest of the country caught up. He was a teenager in the city when his mother was playing Pharrell, Outkast, and Justin Timberlake in the car — formative listening for a kid who would eventually build something that sounds like none of those things exactly and all of them at once. He was 24 when Travis Scott put him on Astroworld. The version of him you get at Toyota Center on Tuesday, August 11, is a different man: five studio albums deep, with Octane — his first number-one on the Billboard 200 — already past a billion streams on Spotify.

About Don Toliver

Born Caleb Zackary Toliver in Houston in June 1994, he came into Scott’s orbit through the Astroworld sessions in 2018 and was signed to Cactus Jack Records shortly after. The breakthrough came quickly: “No Idea” in 2019 and “After Party” in 2020, both certified triple platinum, established him as one of hip-hop’s more genuinely unusual voices — melodic and seductive and slightly off-axis from the genre’s prevailing sounds. The albums kept coming and kept rising: Heaven or Hell, Life of a Don, Love Sick, Hardstone Psycho, and finally Octane, released January 30, 2026, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 162,000 equivalent album units in the first week — his best chart performance ever.

Octane is the most-streamed hip-hop album of 2026, with more than a billion Spotify streams and four singles — “ATM,” “E45,” “E85,” and “Body” — running the format. In a Billboard interview around the release, Toliver was plain about what drove the record: “I just realized within myself that I just love music and I just feel like right now if I don’t put out anything, I just need to capture this moment because it’s a lot going on in my life when I was making this album and when it came out and it’s just fueling me to be as creative as I can possibly be.” Five albums in, with the charts finally reflecting what the rooms already knew, he sounds like a man at the beginning of something rather than its peak.

The Nitrous Tour

NITROUS is the second leg of the Octane World Tour — 19 North American dates from August 4 through September 6, produced by Live Nation and Cactus Jack, followed by a European run opening October 25 in Paris. The Houston stop on August 11 is his second major concert here in 2026; he sold out this same venue in May, and the first leg of the Octane World Tour averaged $1.27 million in gross revenue at Toyota Center. The city claims him. For fans who want the full production: the VIP offering this cycle — Don’s Garage — is a 60×40 immersive pre-show installation built around a full-scale Porsche Dakar fabrication, a vintage electronics wall, exclusive merchandise only available inside the space, gaming experiences, and commemorative items, with priority entry included. SahBabii, SoFaygo, and Chase B support on the western dates, which take the tour through Texas.
