They Might Be Giants at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall | November 13, 2026

They Might Be Giants are playing Dallas on November 13 — two nights of it, back to back at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall. The format matters: the Bigger Show Tour runs on two-night stands with rotating setlists that make each night a genuinely different event. The first set spotlights a different album from their catalog each night; the second pulls fan favorites and deep cuts unique to that evening. Night 1 is Friday. Night 2 is Saturday. If you’re a longtime fan and you have the time, both nights are worth treating separately.

About They Might Be Giants

Formed in 1982 by John Flansburgh and John Linnell, They Might Be Giants have released 24 studio albums across four decades — alt-rock, children’s music, TV theme compositions, whatever the project called for — without ever sounding like a band angling for relevance. The current touring version is an eight-piece with a three-piece horn section, which is a considerably different proposition than the duo-with-drum-machine setup they launched with.

The new material gives both nights something to dig into. The World Is to Dig, out April 14, 2026, is an 18-track LP and their first full-length since 2021. The Eyeball EP landed in January as a preview. Lead single “Get Down” is a high-energy dance track; “Wu-Tang” is exactly what Linnell was describing when he laid out the band’s guiding concept: “celebrating an artist or a style of music, but in the form of a completely unrelated genre of music.” The album also includes “Outside Brain” and “Older Sister,” and for all its stylistic range, it holds together.

About The Echo Lounge & Music Hall

The Echo Lounge & Music Hall is in the Design District at 1323 N. Stemmons Fwy, operated by Live Nation. The room holds up to 1,000 guests across 25,000 square feet — mezzanine level, large bars, a spacious outdoor patio, state-of-the-art sound and lighting. For TMBG’s touring footprint, a 1,000-cap theater is the right call: not so small it undersells the band, not so large that the two-set structure dissolves into arena arithmetic.

Tickets & Details

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster. The show is 16+. Doors at 7:00 PM; the full run is expected through approximately 11:00 PM.
