Holywatr at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall | November 19, 2026

Holywatr’s career reads like a methodically constructed résumé: a Los Angeles solo project in 2020, expanded into a trio, support slots with Architects and Chiodos, appearances on Warped Tour, a sold-out headline run, and now Deo Gratias — a third album with a 40-date North American tour behind it. Dallas is the penultimate stop, landing at The Echo Lounge on November 19 with only a Los Angeles finale left after this.

About the Show

The Deo Gratias Tour arrives in Dallas behind Holywatr’s April 2026 album of the same name: 11 tracks whose Latin title translates as “thanks be to God.” That’s not a soft pivot; the record runs themes of faith and uncertainty through alternative metal and metalcore built on a 2000s-influenced sound, the same sonic territory that earned the band their opening slots with Architects and Chiodos. Melodic Magazine described Holywatr as “a band that holds intention and chaos in the same hand,” and the album’s range backs it up. “Hiding In Plain Sight” draws on choral, church-inspired vocals; “Wake Up” strips to piano and strings; “Pure Leaf,” “Prove Me Wrong,” and “Writing Goodbyes” lead with the metalcore riff work that has pushed the band past 500,000 monthly listeners. The review also noted the album “gets stronger and better over time” — fair warning for where to focus on a first listen. Their previous record, Red Heifer, drew fans from grunge, metal, and shoegaze before frontman Patrick and guitarist Chandler Martin sharpened the band’s focus on this one. AdmitOne tagged them as one of heavy music’s most promising new acts. Holywatr opened this 40-date tour with festival slots (Louder Than Life in Louisville, Aftershock in Sacramento) before moving into the headline circuit. Dallas is the third in three consecutive Texas nights, following Houston on November 17 and Austin on November 18. Mercury opens.

Venue & Logistics

The Echo Lounge & Music Hall, 1323 N. Stemmons Fwy, is a 1,000-capacity room on the Dallas circuit. For a band in Holywatr’s current position, past the opening-act grind with a sold-out headline run already on the résumé, it’s the right call for a November Texas swing.
