The Walnut Creek, California quartet — Parker Cannon on vocals, Kevin Geyer on lead guitar and keys, Ryan Torf on drums, and Will Levy on guitars — headlines a 14-city North American fall run from Virginia Beach to Tucson, with the San Antonio stop at the Aztec Theatre on Tuesday, November 3. The Starting Line and Ultra Q open. The Starting Line are Pennsylvania pop-punk veterans formed in 1999, best known for the 2002 single “The Best of Me” and the 2007 rock radio hit “Island,” touring intermittently since going on hiatus in 2008. Their presence makes this more than a headliner-plus-openers situation — the combined timeline of these two bands covers most of pop-punk’s foundational years.
I Want to Disappear explores loss, acceptance, and the years in between, reflecting the band’s personal struggles during their hiatus, including the 2022 departure of founding bassist Kelen Capener. Kerrang noted the band’s “energetic sonic identity feels a tad more sophisticated” now, leaning melodic and introspective rather than anger-forward — opener “All This Time” establishes the register immediately through Parker Cannon’s over-enunciated vocals and a slapping snare, before the album moves through harder moments like “Jump the Gun” and closes on the acoustic “White Shores.” Kerrang characterized the album as a fork in the road, with a bittersweet core that rewards listeners willing to meet the band where it is now. Proper Dose, which preceded the six-year pause, debuted at number 19 on the Billboard Top 200. Summer 2026 brought festival appearances at Sonic Temple, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Aftershock before the band moved into fall theater routing.
