Sevendust at Boeing Center at Tech Port | September 10, 2026

Sevendust’s fifteenth album One landed May 1st, and the reviews weren’t hedging. Kerrang! praised its combination of brutality and emotional fragility; it’s been called the band at their absolute peak. For a group that’s been at this since 1994, that’s worth something. The Dead/Seven Tour — Sevendust co-headlining with Theory of a Deadman across 36 fall dates — is the kind of tour you build around a record like that. San Antonio gets its night at Boeing Center at Tech Port on Thursday, September 10, at 7 PM.

About Sevendust

The Atlanta five-piece — Lajon Witherspoon, Morgan Rose, Vince Hornsby, John Connolly, and Clint Lowery — have stayed essentially the same band across fifteen albums. One, produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette on Napalm Records, features standout tracks “Unbreakable” and “Blood Price.” Career anchors include a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance for “Thank You” (2015), and Black Out the Sun (2013) was the band’s first number-one on Billboard’s rock charts. Witherspoon on the pairing: “Theory of a Deadman always brings it, so we already know this tour is going to be something special.”

About Theory of a Deadman

Theory of a Deadman have been sharing stages with Sevendust since 2002 — which makes The Dead/Seven Tour less a calculated booking and more a reunion of established road partners. The British Columbia band’s eight albums include “Rx (Medicate),” which hit number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Their new single “Barricade,” out April 24th, is the first new music since Dinosaur (2023). Vocalist Tyler Connolly: “Playing shows with them going back to 2002… this tour is gonna crush.”

Support: Return to Dust

Opening is Return to Dust, a Los Angeles alt-rock and grunge act formed in 2022 — Deftones, Alice in Chains, and Nirvana in their orbit. They’re moving fast for a young band: Red Rocks and O2 Academy Brixton are on their 2026 calendar, and they’re also supporting Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle this year. Get there early.

Boeing Center at Tech Port

Boeing Center at Tech Port opened in 2022 on Port San Antonio — the former Kelly Air Force Base, less than ten minutes from downtown. The venue holds approximately 3,100, making it the right size for this bill: enough room for a dual-headliner production, not so large that anything gets lost. It has become the destination for mid-sized rock shows in the San Antonio market.
