Role Model — the bedroom-pop project he’s been building since a 2017 self-release out of Cape Elizabeth, Maine — is on a trajectory that’s outrunning the chart numbers. “High Hopes 3000,” his first-ever Billboard Hot 100 entry, debuted at No. 94 in June. The room he’s playing on October 6 doesn’t reflect that chart position. It reflects something more like confidence.

The Chuck On Tour run — 26 North American stops from September through October, with a European leg following in February 2027 — is being called his biggest run of shows yet. Looking at the routing, that’s not marketing language. Two nights at Radio City Music Hall. Two nights at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Houston on October 6, then Austin the following night at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park. That’s not a band testing the waters. That’s Live Nation putting chips on the table.
The tour is in support of Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, his third full studio album, due August 7 on Interscope. Pillsbury has been building toward this record since the breakout of Kansas Anymore in 2024 — specifically “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” which expanded his audience well past the bedroom-pop faithful who had been along since the early EPs. He opened for Gracie Abrams during that cycle. The road shaped something.
Samia opens all North American dates. Worth arriving early for — she’s one of the sharper indie songwriters working right now, and a run at this scale doesn’t usually slack on the support slot.

It’s the right room for where Pillsbury seems to be positioning this album cycle. Houston is the first Texas stop on the tour; Austin follows the very next evening.
