Phillip Phillips at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall | September 10, 2026

Phillip Phillips has been writing more honestly lately — “a lot more literal in saying what is going on with my life” is how he puts it. Dallas is where that work gets its first live hearing: the Let’s Go Far Tour kicks off at The Echo Lounge & Music Hall on September 10, six days after the EP it’s named after hits streaming.

About the Show

“Let’s Go Far: Vol. 1” drops September 4, and the lead single frames the whole project around perseverance. Phillips’ own words: “Sometimes going far isn’t about distance. It’s about surviving the moments that try to pull you apart and still choosing each other at the end.” He’s described the new material as a deliberate shift, saying it’s “a lot more personal and more straightforward than I have been when I’ve written songs in the past,” and his stated goal was simply to make something he could be proud of. The arc to get here is real: his debut “The World From The Side Of The Moon” hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and went platinum in 2012, but the years since included a legal dispute with his management company, records including “Collateral” (2018, produced by Ryan Hadlock) and “Drift Back” (2023), and, earlier in 2026, a runner-up finish on “The Masked Singer” and the single “Homesick.” He’s toured alongside John Mayer, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Matt Nathanson; that résumé tells you he knows what the big rooms want, and presumably why, on this tour, he’s choosing this one instead. “It’s easy to forget some of the things that made you fall in love to begin with,” he’s said. “For me, that’s music.” Support comes from Elias Hix, an 18-year-old South Carolina artist writing across country, indie, and folk with a classical training background.

Venue & Logistics

The Echo Lounge & Music Hall sits in Dallas‘s Design District at 1323 N. Stemmons Fwy. For a catalog that includes “Home” (certified five-times platinum, the best-selling Idol alum single in U.S. history), a 1,000-capacity room is a deliberate scale: intimate enough that this kind of personal material has somewhere to land. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., show at 8:00 p.m. All ages.

Tickets

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Meet & Greet packages are also on sale: they include early entry into the venue, an acoustic performance, a signed setlist, a limited-edition corduroy hat, and priority merchandise shopping. Buy tickets.
