There is a recording studio in Carolina, Puerto Rico — Luny Tunes’ Mas Flow Studios — where the architecture of modern reggaeton was shaped in the early 2000s. Omar Courtz grew up in that same city, and when it came time to make the record that would carry him into arenas, he went back. Por Si Mañana No Estoy — In Case I’m Not Here Tomorrow — was recorded in part at Mas Flow, in part in Miami, and in part at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. The album came out February 19, 2026. By summer it had crossed a billion streams, and Courtz was expanding an already-selling-out tour into larger buildings to meet the demand. He brings the Por Si Mañana No Estoy USA Tour to Toyota Center in Houston on Thursday, August 27. Doors at 7:00 PM. Show at 8:00 PM.
About Omar Courtz
Born Joshua Omar Medina Cortés in 1997, Courtz came up in Carolina’s music scene before a quarantine-era viral hit, “En Tu Nota,” put him on the industry’s radar and led to a deal with Pitbull’s Mr. 305 label. Rimas Entertainment co-released Por Si Mañana No Estoy this past February — 18 tracks, over 70 minutes, spanning reggaeton, R&B, trap, electronic textures, and afrobeats, held together by deep vocals and an emotional directness that has set him apart in el movimiento.
The lead single “KOKO” drew 105 million streams and 3.6 million TikTok creations. The full album debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut Global chart and No. 3 domestically, charted at No. 3 on both Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Top Latin Rhythm Albums, and placed 11 tracks simultaneously on the Hot Latin Songs chart. His monthly Spotify listener count sits at 29 million.
His name has been linked to Bad Bunny’s for a while — Courtz appeared on the Grammy-winning DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS and on “VeLDÁ” with Bad Bunny and Dei V. In November 2025, he sold over 15,000 tickets at Madrid’s Movistar Arena. The U.S. arena run followed. Co-produced by OD Entertainment and Live Nation, the Por Si Mañana No Estoy USA Tour runs August 19 through September 13, 2026, with multiple stops upgraded into larger rooms after earlier dates sold through. This is his first major U.S. arena tour — a fact he addressed directly when the dates were announced: “I’m so excited to finally take ‘Por Si Mañana No Estoy’ on the road. It’s my first tour in the U.S. with major arenas and it feels completely different, but it’s all about the energy.”
Houston has long been a city where Latin music finds one of its most engaged audiences in the country, and an artist who crossed a billion streams on a record built partly in the studios where the genre found its footing represents exactly the kind of moment that fills a room like this one.
