Nate Bargatze at Toyota Center | June 18, 2026

Somewhere in late 2024, the Pollstar rankings came out and there he was — Nate Bargatze, No. 1 globally, his name listed alongside Coldplay, Madonna, and U2 on a chart measuring who had moved the most people into arenas that year. It is a strange neighborhood for a Nashville comic who works in the vernacular of ordinary life, but the numbers made the case: 1.2 million tickets in a single year, more than twenty venue records broken, and a Billboard record for the biggest one-year gross by a comedy performer ever posted in that category. Houston took notice. Toyota Center was booking one night. The demand turned it into two. The first is Thursday, June 18, 2026.

About Nate Bargatze

The Big Dumb Eyes World Tour takes its name from Bargatze’s debut book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, published through Grand Central/Hachette and a No. 1 New York Times bestseller. The title is essentially the mission statement: self-deprecating, unhurried, rooted in the comedy of being a person — the small miscalculations, the family dynamics, the gap between how a man sees himself and how the world has other ideas. The Atlantic named him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” CBS Mornings called him “One of the Funniest People.” Jerry Seinfeld has praised his work. He hosted Saturday Night Live and the 77th Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and he has appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

His most recent Netflix special, Your Friend, Nate Bargatze, premiered Christmas Eve 2024 — his third for the platform. His Amazon Prime special, Hello World, holds the platform record for most-streamed original comedy special in its first twenty-eight days. He is Grammy and Emmy-nominated. His film, The Breadwinner — co-written and executive produced by Bargatze, starring Mandy Moore and Colin Jost — releases May 29, 2026, just weeks before these Houston dates. The sixty-two-date world tour features all-new material and routes across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. This is Bargatze at the fullest reach of what he has built.
