Kehlani at Germania Insurance Amphitheater | September 15, 2026

On the intro to her self-titled 2026 album, Kehlani says: “You’re about to hear a heart that’s been stretched, healed, and reborn.” Then you look at who made it with her: Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on select production, Brandy and Missy Elliott and Usher among the features, a guest list built like someone treating two decades of R&B as a curriculum. This wasn’t a retreat into nostalgia. It was an argument.

About the Show

Kehlani brings The Kehlani World Tour: North America to Germania Insurance Amphitheater on Tuesday, September 15, with support from Durand Bernarr, TheARTI$t, and WASEEL. The self-titled record is her ninth project. It debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 on April 23 — the biggest debut for a woman artist’s R&B album this year — and produced “Folded,” her first Hot 100 top-10 single (No. 6), now 2x Platinum and the winner of two Grammys at the February 2026 awards: Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.

The path here took twelve years. Kehlani started in Oakland, left behind a ballet career after a knee injury at the Oakland School of the Arts, and put out the independent mixtape Cloud 19 in 2014. The follow-up, You Should Be Here, was Grammy-nominated. SweetSexySavage debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in 2017. It Was Good Until It Wasn’t came in at No. 2 in 2020. She had been knocking on the top of that chart for the better part of a decade; the self-titled arrived with the Grammys to match.

The record channels millennium-era R&B; Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott were formative for her by her own account, and the album reflects it. Vibe reviewed it as “her most personal project to date” and noted its “nostalgic references, impressive vocal arrangements, pitch-perfect collaborations.” Billboard called it Kehlani “at the peak of her artistic powers.” The 33-stop run goes from Minneapolis (August 6) to San Francisco (October 3); the Texas leg runs through The Woodlands on September 13 and Dallas on September 16.
