Kali Uchis plays Germania Insurance Amphitheater on Friday, June 19 — Austin gets the second of two back-to-back Texas dates, with The Woodlands the night before, and then the tour goes dark until August. Three consecutive top-ten Billboard 200 albums, and she’s routing through outdoor sheds all summer. That’s a choice. You don’t stumble into playing amphitheaters at her level; you decide this is the show you want to give.
About Kali Uchis
The show arrives in the middle of what looks like the most significant stretch of her career. Her 2025 album Sincerely — executive produced by Uchis herself, the first time she’s held that credit alone — debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and drew near-universal critical acclaim. It’s an all-English record built around the death of her mother and the birth of her first child: themes of motherhood, memory, and family legacy filtered through pristinely produced retro-pop and jazzy R&B. It’s more interior than Orquídeas (also a No. 2 debut) or Red Moon in Venus before it, and the Grammy-winning Colombian-American artist has been stacking chart peaks and grief and new parenthood into the same run of years without the seams showing.
Mariah The Scientist is confirmed as special guest on every date of the run, and the pairing has real logic behind it. The two collaborated on “Is It a Crime” (2025), a top-30 Hot 100 hit, and Mariah’s own Hearts Sold Separately (2025) — which produced the R&B standout “Burning Blue” — gives her more than enough standing to hold a slot on this bill. She’s on every date; Laila! joins on select dates only, so check the confirmed lineup before you plan your night around three acts.
Germania Insurance Amphitheater
Germania Insurance Amphitheater sits inside the Circuit of the Americas complex southeast of downtown — Austin‘s primary outdoor touring shed, formerly Austin360 Amphitheater before Germania Insurance acquired naming rights in 2019. It hosts Willie Nelson’s annual Fourth of July Picnic, which tells you something about how Austin has always thought of the place. For a show built around big production and summer air, it’s the right room.
