Juanes at Aztec Theatre | October 2, 2026

“A Dios le pido que no te me vayas” — “to God I pray that you don’t leave me” — and by the time that line lands in a room, it doesn’t matter whether you grew up with it in Medellín or learned it at a quinceañera in San Antonio. You already know what it means. Juanes brings his World Tour 2026 to the Aztec Theatre on Friday, October 2. Show time is 8:00 PM.

About Juanes

Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez was born in Medellín, Colombia, in 1972, learned guitar at age seven from his father and brothers, and spent eleven years fronting Ekhymosis — a heavy metal band, not the Latin rock artist the rest of the world came to know — before relocating to Los Angeles in 1999. His 2000 debut, Fíjate Bien, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, earned him three Latin Grammys out of the gate, including Best New Artist. The 2002 follow-up, Un día normal, added five more and gave the world “A Dios le Pido” and the Nelly Furtado duet “Fotografía.” Mi Sangre (2004) and its global breakout “La Camisa Negra” cemented him as a touring force at arena scale.

He has since won 29 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards from 49 nominations. Billboard named him “Top Latin Rock/Pop Artist of the 21st Century.” His most recent studio album, Vida Cotidiana (2023), took the Latin Grammy for Best Pop-Rock Album and the Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album in 2024. This year, he received the Premio Lo Nuestro Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 2026 world tour is built around JuanesTeban, a forthcoming concept album exploring duality — darkness and light, cumbia braided into rock — through the figure of “Teban,” his unguarded alter ego. Co-produced with Nico Cotton, the album is the animating idea behind a brand-new live production that the Los Angeles Times called “daring” and “unforgettable.” Expect classic hits alongside new material making its live debut in this room.

The Venue

The Aztec Theatre is a 1926 Meso-American revival theater on the edge of the River Walk, restored as a concert house in 2013. It holds 1,477 in seated configuration, with a flexible floor that opens for general admission. For a Latin rock headliner at Juanes’ scale, it’s the right room: close enough that the show is present, large enough that the production has room to work. Find it at 104 N St. Mary’s St in downtown San Antonio.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster. Prices range from approximately $35–$55 for upper-level seating to $130–$220 for premium. VIP and Fast Lane upgrades are available through Live Nation. Get tickets for the San Antonio show.
