Jack Harlow plays 713 Music Hall on Monday, September 7. The Monica Tour is what it says — a live run behind the fourth album, which he recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York and dropped on his 28th birthday this past March. James Savage opens. Show starts at 7:30 PM.
About Jack Harlow
Harlow is from Louisville, which matters to how you understand the career. He came up outside the major hip-hop markets — not New York, not Atlanta, not Houston — and built his way in through precision and persistence. “What’s Poppin” broke through in 2020, went viral, and put him at the center of a conversation about who gets to claim hip-hop in the streaming era. He wasn’t from a historically canonized scene, and the music didn’t pretend otherwise. It just worked.
From there: “Industry Baby” with Lil Nas X hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Then “First Class,” the lead single from Come Home the Kids Miss You, debuted at number one as well. Grammy nominations followed — Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song. Billboard named him Top New Artist in 2021. Forbes listed him in its 30 Under 30. He made his acting debut in the 2023 White Men Can’t Jump remake. The through-line is someone who built a mainstream career without abandoning the hip-hop record underneath it.
In 2023, Jackman. shifted the picture. Ten tracks. No guest features. It debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 and read more like a personal document than a commercial project. Monica, his fourth album — out this March — is what this tour is built around. He made it at Electric Lady Studios, and whatever the record ends up meaning for him, Houston gets it live in September.
