glaive and kurtains were in Asheville when the recordings started. What wasn’t supposed to be a recording trip turned into the first entries of what both described as “instinctive rather than premeditated” sessions. Then came the Cotswolds. The result is God Save the Three, released May 8, 2026, and the tour behind it hits Dallas on Saturday, October 24.
About the Show
glaive plays The Echo Lounge & Music Hall with kurtains and Tiffany Day opening. The 15-track album behind the tour, produced by kurtains and released May 8, 2026 on broke records, is described by the artists as “a deeply personal collaborative album built on years of friendship, shared creative evolution, and a defining run of spontaneous studio sessions across the United Kingdom and the United States.” The sessions started during an impromptu Asheville visit and extended into a more deliberate stretch in the Cotswolds.
kurtains and glaive have been in each other’s work for years; kurtains produced on glaive’s 2024 album May It Never Falter, and both emerged from internet-driven pop movements of the early 2020s before bringing that shared history into a full joint project. “The Troubles,” the first release from the project, landed April 24; lead single “The Band” followed with a music video directed by Lewis Baillie.
The solo catalog framing the collaboration: I Care So Much That I Don’t Care at All (2023), May It Never Falter (2024), Y’all (September 2025). That last record drew critical notice from NPR, Clash, and The Line of Best Fit. Y’all was built around a return to Asheville, glaive describing it as “a love letter to the city.” God Save the Three turns outward: built on a friendship and a run of sessions that moved between North Carolina and the English countryside without a fixed plan.
