Five Finger Death Punch land at Germania Insurance Amphitheater on September 28 — 14,000 capacity, Circuit of the Americas, 6:45 PM sharp — and this is not a nostalgia exercise. The 20th Anniversary World Tour routing them through Austin is a 48-city North American run with a new single already in circulation (“Eye Of The Storm,” May 15) and a tenth studio album expected this fall. You don’t book amphitheaters at this scale to look backward.
The support lineup is worth your attention. Cody Jinks — platinum-certified outlaw country and one of the more interesting live draws in that lane — opens alongside Eva Under Fire, a hard rock act releasing their album Villainous in 2026. A country artist opening a metal headliner at a 14,000-seat room is either a smart read on where the overlap in those fanbases actually lives, or just inspired booking. Either way, the three-band card earns the amphitheater footprint.
About Five Finger Death Punch
Five Finger Death Punch formed in Las Vegas in 2005 — twenty years ago, which is the milestone this tour is actually marking. Every album since their 2007 debut, The Way of the Fist, has been certified Gold or Platinum by the RIAA. The band has charted 22 Top 10 singles, including 9 at number one. They’ve also earned the Soldier Appreciation Award from the Association of the United States Army, a detail that says something real about the relationship they’ve built with that audience across two decades of relentless touring.
Guitarist Zoltan Bathory reflected on the band’s staying power in a recent interview: “In the beginning, people were telling us we’re not going to last six months.” The amphitheater routing in year twenty is the answer to that. Current lineup: Ivan Moody on vocals, Bathory on rhythm guitar, Andy James on lead guitar, Chris Kael on bass, and Charlie Engen on drums.
