Dax ran out of room on the Lonely Dirt Road Tour â all 16 dates sold out across the U.S. and Canada last fall. The Anger Management Tour, his 46-city follow-up, stops at the Echo Lounge on Friday, October 23. At 1,000 capacity in the Design District, it’s a deliberate booking for an artist who has logged nearly 4 billion career streams, close quarters by choice.

The Anger Management Tour runs September through December 2026, covering 46 North American cities and ending December 13 at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl. The Texas leg hits Dallas on October 23, Austin at Scoot Inn on the 24th, and Houston’s House of Blues on the 26th. The tour name fits what Dax has been releasing: his 2026 singles “Temptation,” “God, Can You Hear Me?,” and “Caught You In The Bed” (the last of which addresses infidelity and betrayal directly) form a cycle of confessional, bruised material that earns the Anger Management framing.
Born Daniel Nwosu Jr. in Newfoundland and raised in Ottawa, Dax came to music from an unlikely starting point: basketball through high school and college, then a janitorial job at Newman University in Wichita while still a student. He started posting original music and freestyles online around 2016 and built his following on the work alone, reaching nearly 50 million social media followers before signing with Columbia Records. His delivery alternates between a hyperspeed technical approach and slower, ruminative passages, rap and singing folded into the same song. The breakthrough was “Dear Alcohol,” a 2022 duet with Elle King on Columbia that went Platinum and cleared 350 million streams. “Lonely Dirt Road” and “To Be A Man,” featuring Darius Rucker, also certified Platinum. His second album, From a Man’s Perspective, arrived in 2024. Earlier this year, he made his CMA Fest debut at the Chevy Vibes Stage in Nashville, a reminder of how far his catalog reaches across genre lines. He has also appeared on NBC News, ABC News, and TODAY. No support acts have been listed for the Dallas date.
