Bryan Adams at Toyota Center | July 29, 2026

Bryan Adams has been making anthemic rock music since before most arena audiences were born, and the version of him arriving at Houston’s Toyota Center on Wednesday, July 29 — behind his 16th studio album and four decades of road discipline — is not a nostalgia act. It is a working musician who still has something to prove, and the Roll With the Punches Tour is the evidence.

About Bryan Adams

The tour takes its name from Adams’ August 2025 release on his own Bad Records label — his 16th studio album and a reunion with producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange, the same engineer-producer behind Waking Up the Neighbours in 1991 and, long before that, the recording sessions that shaped the sound of AC/DC and Def Leppard. The album reached Top 10 chart positions in multiple countries. Adams described the working dynamic to press in characteristically understated terms: “I kept sending him ideas; every time I come up with a chorus or a verse or something, or if I have a [basic] track, I’d send it to him and say, What do you think of this?” The first Roll With the Punches Tour leg logged more than 80 shows worldwide before this second American push, which runs through August 16.

The Houston setlist draws from new material alongside the catalog that made Adams a rock radio fixture — “Summer of ’69,” “Heaven,” “Run To You,” and “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” are among the titles the venue has cited. In an arena setting, songs that have been part of the collective memory for forty years take on a different weight: they arrive already loaded, shared by everyone in the room.

Adams holds 20 Juno Awards, was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2006, and received his Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2011. In 2022 he earned his first Grammy nomination in over two decades, for Best Rock Performance.

Supporting the tour are Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. Their catalog — “Love Is a Battlefield,” “We Belong” — holds its own in an arena setting, and their presence gives the evening the weight of two complete legacies rather than one. Opening acts are subject to change.
