Artemas lands in San Antonio on Friday, September 18 — and if you followed what “I Like the Way You Kiss Me” did in 2024, the Aztec Theatre booking makes a certain kind of sense. This is an artist sitting on 1.4 billion Spotify streams choosing a 1,477-capacity historic theater over anything larger. The math is deliberate. He’s two years removed from going viral and not rushing the transition to a room that would leave empty space behind him.
About Artemas
Artemas Diamandis, the English-Cypriot singer-producer out of Oxfordshire, coined “Lovercore” as a genre label for the dark synth-pop he makes — heavy on distorted vocals, synthesizers, and the emotional vertigo of obsessive attraction. His reference stack runs from The Weeknd to Depeche Mode to Nine Inch Nails, which tells you roughly where the mood lands: late-night and slightly dangerous, nothing designed for daylight.
“I Like the Way You Kiss Me,” released in March 2024, put him in front of audiences he hadn’t reached before — it peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, hit #1 across several European markets, and earned a BRIT Award nomination for Song of the Year. The follow-through has been methodical: two mixtapes in 2024 (Pretty and yustyana), then LOVERCORE in 2025, and getting up to no good in March 2026. The latest is a ten-track set built around desire, toxicity, and emotional exposure — lead singles “psychokiller” and “myself” are its sharpest edges.
The LOVERCORE / GETTING UP TO NO GOOD Tour runs North America through October 2026 before heading to Europe and the UK. Henry Morris opens the San Antonio show. This is an all-ages date.
About the Venue
The Aztec Theatre opened in 1926, designed in the Aztec Revival style — a Meso-American architectural statement that still stops people cold when they walk in. Live Nation has operated it since 2015. The room sits in San Antonio’s downtown entertainment district near the River Walk and holds approximately 1,477 in its current concert configuration. It’s the right-sized room for where Artemas is right now: big enough to matter, focused enough to feel like something.
