Yung Bleu plays House of Blues Houston on Wednesday, June 3. The We All Need Therapy Tour puts this as a mid-tour stop — New Orleans the night before, then west toward Portland — and the 1,800-capacity Music Hall is exactly the right room for where he sits right now.
About Yung Bleu
Jeremy Biddle grew up in Mobile, Alabama, started rapping at eleven, and built his early catalog the slow way: mixtapes, regional shows, deep South networking. The Investments series — three volumes beginning in 2013 — established his dark, heavy melodic style: Southern rap with R&B right on the surface. His career shifted when Boosie Badazz’s camp took notice. That connection got him signed to Badazz Music Syndicate under Columbia Records, and the machinery started moving.
The 2017 single “Miss It” showed what he could do with actual feeling — it went platinum. “Ice on My Baby” followed in 2018, same result. Then “You’re Mines Still” arrived in 2020, featuring Drake, and peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut album Moon Boy came the following year, debuting at number 12 on the Billboard 200 with features from Big Sean, Gunna, and John Legend. He’s a three-time Grammy nominee; his duet “Paradise” with H.E.R. appeared on her Grammy-nominated Back of My Mind. The follow-ups — Tantra (2022) and Jeremy (2024) — kept the catalog moving.
The We All Need Therapy Tour
Ten-plus cities through June. The routing hits House of Blues venues and mid-size music halls — the same circuit that carries touring melodic hip-hop and R&B acts through markets like this one. He’s not a stadium artist, but he fills these rooms with people who know the records cold.
The Venue
House of Blues Houston sits at 1204 Caroline St in the Houston entertainment corridor. The Music Hall holds 1,800. It’s been the anchor stop for touring R&B when the circuit comes through this city.
