Tooloji has been at this since 2005. The core lineup is Dave Ooi on vocals, Josh Guinn on guitar, John Haddad on bass, and Perry MacAdams on drums. They built their following at Scout Bar and House of Blues Houston before extending their circuit to the Trees in Dallas — two documented shows there in 2023 — and more recently to House of Blues New Orleans in June 2026. The Houston connection runs deep: this is a band that grew up in the same city and has spent twenty years playing these rooms for audiences that know the original material well enough to know when a tribute is earning it.
