Tinlicker at House of Blues Houston | October 1, 2026

What Tinlicker is touring in 2026 is not what Tinlicker has been touring for a decade. Dutch producers Micha Heyboer and Jordi van Achthoven made their name in melodic techno and progressive house across festival main stages and club DJ booths. The North America 2026 run — which hits House of Blues Houston on Thursday, October 1 — is their debut as a fully live trio, with British vocalist Hero Baldwin sharing the stage every night. That distinction matters.

About Tinlicker

Dreams of the Machine, their fourth album, arrived February 27, 2026 on Remember The Future/[PIAS]. Fourteen tracks spanning progressive house, dub techno, acid-influenced passages, and indie guitar work — patient and sonically varied in a way that rewards the attention a live room demands. The record’s conceptual frame is the relationship between humanity and technology in the AI era: the machine learning to dream while people increasingly think in algorithms. It’s a premise that could go heavy-handed. The music doesn’t.

Baldwin’s integration into the trio changed how the band operates. A former punk frontwoman from Brighton, she’s a full collaborator here — not a featured guest vocal. Her voice carries “Choosing Life,” “Surrender,” and “Release,” which are the tracks where the album earns its live-show ambitions most clearly. Jordi van Achthoven described the record to SNACK Mag as having “a different palette of emotions. Some songs are danceable; others are more like songs.” That second category is what makes the live format worth the upgrade from streaming it.

Houston closes out a three-night Texas sweep: Dallas September 29, Austin September 30, then here on October 1. After that, they head west to Denver.

The Venue

House of Blues Houston on Caroline St. is a working A-list room — 1,800 capacity, built for full production, part of the Houston concert circuit that supports this size of touring act. Electronic live sets with real instrumentation need a room built for that kind of production. This one qualifies.
