Prof brings his fall 2026 tour to House of Blues Houston on Saturday, October 24, third stop on a 12-city run that started in Oklahoma City and came through San Antonio the night before. Good Time Boy dropped June 26 through his independent Stophouse Music Group, the label he co-founded in northeast Minneapolis after five years on Rhymesayers Entertainment, where he released Liability (2015) and Pookie Baby (2018). The 16-track album opens on introspection and moves through dominance, resilience, and vulnerability before landing on hope, a structural arc that maps to what the title promises.
The collaborator list runs wide: E-40 on “Brrrr,” T-Pain on “Jewelry Duty,” That Mexican OT and 2 Chainz on “Big Dog,” plus Sauce Walka, Redman, Pete & Bas, and JonRay across the rest. Houston crowds will recognize two of those names. They fit.
His 2023 album HORSE hit #2 on the Billboard Current Rap Album chart and #1 on the Heatseekers Album chart. Good Time Boy builds on it. Hip Hop High Society rated it 9.5 out of 10 and cited “Brrrr,” “Dynamite,” “Jewelry Duty,” “Destiny,” and “Imposter” as standouts; the reviewer called Prof “one of the most underrated artists in the game.” His fans, collectively known as Gampos, fill rooms not just because the records hit, but because his live productions run large — elaborate staging, an event-level setup that goes beyond a standard hip-hop booking. No supporting acts have been announced for the Houston date.
