PRESIDENT makes alt-metal built on genuinely large questions: faith, mortality, the arithmetic of chased and wasted time. The UK group’s members stay masked and anonymous, identities undisclosed since launch, the lead vocalist performing as “The President” in human-like latex. Before any full-length record existed, the band had crossed one million monthly listeners on streaming, an audience built on support slots and early singles. The debut, Blood Of Your Empire, landed September 4 on Atlantic Records. This Houston stop of the North American Campaign 2026 tour is near the close of the first headline run of their career.
About the Show
PRESIDENT spent 2025 earning the right to headline through support slots with Architects and Bad Omens and a debut EP (King of Terrors, September 2025) that established the band’s sound. The Atlantic Records signing came in February 2026. The North American Campaign 2026 spans 29 dates from September 4 in Nashville through October 14 in Dallas, routing through the Midwest, Northeast, Canada, and the West Coast, with festival appearances at Louder Than Life in Louisville and Aftershock in Sacramento before arriving in Texas for the final two nights of the run. The Houston show, Tuesday, October 13, is the penultimate stop.
Blood Of Your Empire‘s ten tracks work through what the band has described as “belief, mortality, and humanity’s relationship with faith.” The cover art draws from Eugène Delacroix’s “The Battle of Poitiers,” a signal about the record’s ambitions. Released singles “Angel Wings” and “Mercy” preceded the album; “DOOM LOOP” is the latest, building tension with what Rock Sound described as “pulsating, neon-influenced production.” The band offered their own note on the track: “The song explores how we chase time, waste it, and fear it, realizing its value only after moments vanish. It reminds people to be present while living.” The tracklist also includes a collaboration with Ando San (“Hate Figure”) and revisits “Dionysus” from the King of Terrors EP. House of Blues Houston is at 1204 Caroline Street. At 1,800 capacity, it’s the right room for a band stepping into its first North American headline tour — credible without being a conquest.
