Oliver Tree at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater | August 28, 2026

Oliver Tree brings the North American leg of his Love You Madly, Hate You Badly World's First World Tour to a close at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater on Friday, August 28 — the final stop on a 22-city run that traced through Nashville, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and his hometown of Santa Cruz before routing down through Dallas the night before and landing in Austin. The 2,500-capacity outdoor room on Red River is a deliberate fit: big enough to handle a touring spectacle, contained enough that this still registers as a concert and not a stadium exercise.

About Oliver Tree

Tree's fourth studio album, Love You Madly Hate You Badly, arrived April 24, 2026, on Atlantic Records — 17 tracks recorded across 82 countries, pulling instruments and production elements from Africa, China, Afghanistan, and beyond. The scale of the recording process matches the scale of the tour itself, which spans all seven continents and more than 70 dates across 30-plus countries. Lead singles “Superhero,” “Joyride,” and “Flowers” cover enough stylistic territory — pop-punk, electronic, folk-adjacent — that the album functions less like a unified statement and more like a demonstration of range. Clash Magazine described it as “an eclectic return that is uneven, but engagingly creative,” which sounds about right. Tree has been impossible to pin down since his 2020 debut Ugly Is Beautiful, and this record doesn't resolve that — it doubles down on it.

The Venue

Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater, at 801 Red River St., is the 2,500-capacity outdoor stage at the Stubb's complex — the configuration that handles mid-to-upper-tier touring acts as they move through Austin's Red River corridor. The outdoor room treats sound differently than any club in town, and for an artist whose productions lean as dense as Tree's, the open air will spread things out. No support acts have been announced for this leg of the tour.

Doors at 7:00 PM.
