Madeon at House of Blues Houston | October 30, 2026

Good Faith made Madeon’s case on the merits: Grammy nominated, number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Album chart, a pop-electronic record that led with songwriting and landed. Victory — his first full-length since then, released June 26 on Mom+Pop — is a deliberate turn toward something darker and more cinematic, blending punk, indie rock, and electro-clash into 10 tracks that sound less like a victory lap and more like an argument. The Victory Live Tour brings that argument to the Bronze Peacock Room at House of Blues Houston on Friday, October 30.

About the Show

Madeon (Hugo Leclercq, from Nantes), who first drew international attention in 2011 when, at 17, he released the viral “Pop Culture” mashup video, headlines alone on the Houston date with no support act listed. The Victory Live Tour covers 31 North American dates from September through November 2026. “Fire Away,” the lead single featuring Slayyyter, debuted at Coachella and established the album’s harder-edged template. The live show draws across the full catalog, reconstructing Adventure, Good Faith, and Victory into what the tour’s description calls “a seamless live mix where no song appears unchanged.” The production system, called The CODEX, builds on the visual mechanics from the Good Faith Forever tour: darkness manipulation, shifting vanishing points, layered projections, synchronized lighting. Madeon previewed the updated staging at a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre performance in October 2025; the same visual team returns with expanded elements. “It takes a while to figure out how to communicate what’s in your heart,” Leclercq has said. “Everyone has a different language, and when you figure out what your language is, that’s when the world opens up.”

The album rollout has been as engineered as the music. A cryptic Los Angeles billboard pointed fans to Victory.band, a fictional band website presenting Leclercq as vocalist alongside three invented bandmates named Spikey, Juno, and Red, with weekly lore updates feeding an alternate-reality narrative. It’s the same puzzle-embedding practice Madeon has run throughout his career, here at a larger scale.
