Ken Carson at Moody Center | September 15, 2026

Ken Carson is twenty-six years old and he is filling arenas. The Atlanta rapper who built his initial audience through SoundCloud releases — before Playboi Carti signed him to the Opium imprint in 2019 — spent several years operating in the sub-surface layers of the industry, the kind of proximity to stardom that gets called “emerging” long after the evidence suggests the emergence is complete. More Chaos, his fourth album, topped the Billboard 200 in 2025. He brings the xperimenting Tour to Moody Center on Tuesday, September 15 at 7:30 PM.

About Ken Carson

Carson’s fifth studio album, xperiment, arrived July 3, 2026, on Interscope Records, pulling nearly 16 million global streams on its opening day — the sixth-largest rap album debut of the year. The record adds a more melodic and emotionally expansive dimension to Carson’s established digitized, high-octane style, while remaining recognizably his territory. Collaborators include Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Destroy Lonely, and producers AM, F1LTHY, Lucian, and Clif Shayne.

The album arrives paired with a series of cinematic short films directed by Joy Divizn — sci-fi in texture, surreal in execution, built around the central image of a USB drive inserted into Carson’s neck, as though the music were literally installed in the body. It is an ambitious conceptual frame for an artist who might have coasted on the commercial momentum of a Billboard No. 1.

The xperimenting Tour runs 17 dates across the United States, promoted by Live Nation, opening August 26 in Chicago and moving through Philadelphia, Boston, Brooklyn, Washington, Charlotte, Miami, Orlando, and Atlanta before landing in Austin. Support comes from xaviersobased — Manhattan rapper and producer and the FADER‘s February 2026 cover artist — alongside prettifun and DJ Moon. The scale here is not accidental: Carson’s WTF Tour, supporting More Chaos, included sold-out European and UK dates, with the London OVO Arena Wembley show grossing $511,164. The 15,000-seat Moody Center is a statement about where this career stands in 2026.
