Kali Uchis at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | June 18, 2026

Kali Uchis spent last year moving through arenas. The For The Girls Tour is something different — 18 dates, amphitheater-scale, a bill that reads less like a momentum play and more like a deliberate reset. She brings it to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on Thursday, June 18, with Mariah the Scientist as special guest and Laila! opening. After a sold-out 37-date Sincerely Tour that drew more than 320,000 people, choosing to play amphitheaters could be recalibration — or a runway to something bigger. The lineup she assembled doesn’t suggest an artist who’s idling.

About Kali Uchis

The Colombian-American singer-songwriter was born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised between the U.S. and Pereira, Colombia — a split geography that’s been audible in everything she makes. Her catalog moves through R&B, soul, funk, Latin pop, and reggaeton, often in the same song, and she performs bilingually by design. In her own words: “I’m not going to just keep making music in one language because it’s easier to sell. I’m going to do both because I can do both.”

She’s a Grammy Award winner whose mainstream breakthrough came when “Telepatía” — off her 2020 album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) — went viral and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed that with Orquídeas (2024), a Spanish-language record that debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned near-universal critical acclaim, and Sincerely (2025), which also peaked at No. 2 and was dedicated to her late mother. That album includes “Pretty Promises” — a collaboration with tour co-headliner Mariah the Scientist.

The Lineup

Mariah the Scientist performs as special guest on every For The Girls Tour date — a pairing already backed by that album credit and worth watching live. Laila! opens this show as part of her run through the tour’s first leg. Get there early.

About The Venue

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion sits at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands — a 16,500-capacity outdoor amphitheater north of Houston and one of the largest dedicated outdoor rooms in Texas. For a Live Nation–promoted tour at this scale, it’s the right fit. Note the venue’s strict bag policy: non-clear bags must be under 4.5″ × 6.5″; clear bags must be under 12″ × 12″. Factor that in at security.
