Kail Lowry at House of Blues Houston | July 17, 2026

Kailyn Lowry didn’t come up through the standard touring pipeline — no showcase circuit, no radio promotion, no manager working regional buyers. She built an audience the way a lot of people are building audiences now: one candid conversation at a time, on microphone, in public, with the kind of disarming honesty that makes listeners feel like they stumbled into the most interesting group chat they’ve never been invited to. That the Fatherless Behavior Tour now puts her in a 1,800-capacity room in downtown Houston says something real about where the entertainment economy has moved — and Kailyn Lowry, whatever else you want to say about her, has been ahead of that curve for years.

The Houston show lands at House of Blues Houston on Friday, July 17, 2026, one night after the Dallas date — a back-to-back Texas swing on a 21-stop North American and U.K. run that opened in Indianapolis on June 17 and closes in Silver Spring, Maryland on August 29.

About Kail Lowry

Born Kailyn Lowry in Nazareth, Pennsylvania in 1992, she first reached a national audience on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2010, then spent more than a decade on Teen Mom 2 before stepping away from the show in 2022 to build something she owned outright. What she built: the KILLR Podcast Network, the Fatherless Behavior podcast, and Baby Mamas No Drama, co-hosted with Vee Rivera — which took two People’s Choice Awards for podcasting in 2022. She has authored five books, including a New York Times bestseller, graduated from Delaware State University in 2017 with a degree in Mass Communication, has seven children, and has accumulated more than 8 million social media followers. She earns more from podcasting now than she did from television. That is a career.

The Fatherless Behavior Tour draws its name and its subject matter from the podcast: the long ripple effect of absent fathers, examined through the lens of a woman who has made candor into currency. The live show is not a solo stand-up set — it’s a group production, an ensemble cast of what the official tour description calls “emotionally self-aware (and slightly unhinged)” voices, blending personal storytelling with sharp, dark humor. The show’s official tagline positions it plainly: “It’s not therapy — it’s cheaper, funnier, and best enjoyed with a drink in hand.” The format captures, according to the tour press copy, “the energy of a late-night group chat, just louder.” Anyone who has spent time with the podcast will recognize the description.

The Houston date is the second stop on a two-night Texas run. Dallas gets the show July 16; Houston follows the next evening. That cadence — city-hopping on consecutive nights through a state where audiences have historically taken their live entertainment seriously — reflects the confidence of a touring production that has sold well throughout its run.

Venue

House of Blues Houston sits at 1204 Caroline St in downtown Houston, four blocks from the George R. Brown Convention Center. The 1,800-capacity multi-story room is operated by Live Nation and features what the venue describes as four distinctive environments, including full Music Hall production capacity with state-of-the-art sound and lighting. It is an A-list room, and it handles big-crowd energy well. The Fatherless Behavior Tour, with its live podcast format and ensemble cast, should find the room’s infrastructure an asset — this is not a show that needs a small, intimate club. It needs a room that can hold a lot of people who already feel like they know each other. House of Blues Houston can do that.

More Houston concerts are on the calendar throughout the summer.
