Jane Remover at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater | September 29, 2026

Jane Remover plays Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater on Tuesday, September 29 — and the fact that it’s Stubb’s and not Emo’s is the first thing worth noting about this booking. The tour announcement listed Emo’s. At some point after tickets went on sale, the venue changed. That’s not a scheduling hiccup; that’s an artist moving faster than the original booking anticipated. Stubb’s has confirmed all Emo’s tickets remain valid at the new location.

About Jane Remover

Jane Remover (formerly recording as dltzk) arrived in 2021 with Frailty, a debut that The Fader called “the most elegant and panoramic album” from the hyperpop and digicore scenes. They were seventeen when they made it. What separated it from the genre’s usual churn was its guitar — lo-fi passages pressed against distortion and yearning vocals in a way that felt more compositionally considered than most of what those scenes were producing at the time.

The 2023 album Census Designated (DeadAir Records) moved somewhere else entirely: shoegaze, post-rock, noise, structured as a concept piece tracing one night’s arc. The title track landed on Pitchfork’s and Paste’s best-songs-of-the-year lists. It was a real pivot — an hour-long record averaging six minutes per track, with guitarist Doug Dulgarian in the room. The Designated Dreams Tour followed in early 2024.

This year has been their biggest yet: Coachella in April, Governor’s Ball in June, and now the Live Exhibit North American tour — 18 dates across two legs, with Dazegxd supporting the full September–October run. The Austin date falls after stops in Minneapolis, Boston, and DC.

Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater

Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater — the 2,500-capacity outdoor stage at 801 Red River St — books differently from the indoor room next door and from most club venues in the Austin circuit. It’s part of the larger Stubb’s complex, now in Live Nation’s orbit, and at this scale the show will feel like a proper concert rather than a club date. If you bought tickets when this was an Emo’s booking, the venue has confirmed those tickets are honored here.
