Taste of Chaos lands at House of Blues Houston on Friday, October 16, with Hollywood Undead and In This Moment co-headlining. Both acts have spent two decades building audiences that fill rooms without needing a radio hit to do it. The booking makes sense — and so does the timing: Hollywood Undead dropped “Feels Like Home” the same day as the tour announcement, a new single that sounds exactly like what they’d want opening a set on this kind of run.
About Hollywood Undead
Formed in Los Angeles in 2005, Hollywood Undead built their early following on MySpace before signing with Interscope and releasing Swan Songs in 2008 — a debut that reached No. 22 on the Billboard 200. The current five-piece — J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, and Danny — has kept the masked-persona aesthetic while pushing the sound across rap, rock, and metal. The blend doesn’t fit cleanly into any single lane, which is part of why the audience stuck.
Recent singles “1×1” (March 2026) and “All My Friends” featuring Jeris Johnson (May 2026) have been signaling new material. “Feels Like Home,” the newest, is framed by the band itself: “It’s about getting used to the things that are slowly breaking you. A song for the broken, a reminder that they’re not alone.” That’s a specific pitch to a specific audience. It’ll hit.
In This Moment co-headlines; support comes from I See Stars, Vana, and Melrose Avenue. Doors at 5:00 PM — this is a full evening.
About the Venue
House of Blues Houston sits at 1204 Caroline St, four blocks from the George R. Brown Convention Center. It’s a Live Nation room — 43,000 square feet, multi-story layout, main hall plus restaurant and bar and a VIP Foundation Room, capacity around 1,750. The folk-art-covered walls give it more character than most chain venues at this size. For a four-act festival-format bill with a 5 PM door, it’s the right kind of room. See all Houston concerts.
