Three Disney Channel franchises — Descendants, ZOMBIES, and, for the first time in this format, Camp Rock — have collectively shaped the pop music sensibility of a generation of young fans in ways that don’t require a rock critic’s endorsement to validate. The kids who grew up with these shows know the songs the way their parents knew MTV summer jams: by heart, by reflex, by years of repeated viewing. The Worlds Collide Concert Tour brings that catalog to life in the kind of arena production these shows always seemed to be building toward — and it arrives at Moody Center on Friday, December 4, at 7:00 PM CT, the final United States stop on a 48-arena North American run before the tour closes in Mexico City.
About the Worlds Collide Concert Tour
Disney Concerts and AEG Presents built the Worlds Collide format as what they themselves call “a pop concert of the highest caliber,” and last year’s edition bore that description out: the 2025 run played over 40 sold-out arenas and earned recognition as Billboard Magazine’s Top Family Tour of 2025. The 2026 edition expands the franchise reach, adding Camp Rock — making its debut in this series — to the Descendants and ZOMBIES material already established in the format.
The cast performing the Austin date: Malachi Barton (ZOMBIES 4, Camp Rock 3), Liamani Segura (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, Camp Rock 3), Dara Renée (Descendants: The Rise of Red), Mekonnen Knife (ZOMBIES 4), Hudson Stone (Camp Rock 3), Swayam Bhatia (ZOMBIES 4), Kiara Romero (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland), and Alexandro Byrd (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland).
The show features fresh mashups of hit songs drawn from all three franchises, delivered with choreography and special effects designed for a full arena stage. Fan interaction is built into the evening’s architecture — attendees are encouraged to arrive dressed as their favorite characters and to be ready to sing along throughout.
