Corbyn Besson plays House of Blues Houston on Wednesday, June 10 — his first Texas date as a solo act, and a booking that says something about where he is in the rebuild. He walked away from Why Don’t We in 2023. “By 2023, it was over,” he’s said. “I was like, ‘Who am I outside of this bigger thing?’” He spent the stretch after that in the studio with Hit-Boy, Jeremih, and NOTD, and came out the other side with Head First, a debut EP released this January. Live Nation is backing the tour. At 1,800 capacity, House of Blues Houston feels right-sized: big enough to mean business, small enough that no one’s getting ahead of themselves.
About Corbyn Besson
Besson was born in Dallas and raised in Virginia, which gives the Texas stop some mild homecoming weight even if Houston isn’t exactly where he grew up. He co-founded Why Don’t We in 2016 — a group that built a catalog of RIAA Gold-certified hits and two Billboard 200 Top Ten albums on multi-billion streams. But by his own account, it never fully felt like his. “With the band it was hard to feel a real attachment to the songs,” he’s said.
The solo pivot has already produced one breakout moment: “BLINK,” featuring TZUYU of K-pop group TWICE, cleared 23 million Spotify streams and earned a 2026 iHeartRadio Music Award nomination for Favorite K-pop Collab. His current single is “Love Me Better.”
Co-Headlining: Soulidified
This is a co-headline — equal billing, not a support slot. Soulidified — Shade Jenifer, Malik Heard, Bradley Rittmann, and Landon Boyce — formed on Netflix’s Building the Band in 2025 and have already put a full tour behind them; their Bandemonium Tour wrapped before this run. They draw from ’90s and 2000s pop and R&B. Two new acts sharing a bill, seeing what they can build together. That’s the real shape of the show.
