The Black Crowes bring the Southern Hospitality Tour to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on August 8—a major booking for a band that’s spent three decades proving that rock resilience beats trends. After kicking off the tour in Austin back in May, the Robinson brothers and their crew are now working 16,500-seat amphitheaters, supporting a new album and moving like they’ve still got something to prove.
About The Black Crowes
Chris and Rich Robinson formed The Black Crowes in Atlanta in 1984. Their debut, Shake Your Money Maker (1990), hit #4 on the Billboard 200 and went 5x platinum. The follow-up, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion (1992), reached #1. Songs like “She Talks to Angels” and “Hard to Handle” built a fanbase that survived every breakup and lineup change. They kept recording—10 studio albums, multiple Grammy nominations. Their recent album Happiness Bastards was nominated for Best Rock Album. This tour supports A Pound of Feathers, arriving March 2026. The Southern Hospitality Tour runs through August 20, over 40 dates co-headlining with Whiskey Myers. Southall opens each night.
