Big K.R.I.T. at House of Blues Houston | June 13, 2026

Big K.R.I.T. brings “The World Is A Parking Lot” Tour to House of Blues Houston on Saturday, June 13. The case for this show starts with the record he’s touring behind.

Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz, released in 2025, is named after K.R.I.T.’s Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz — the car as a means of working out where he’s been and where he’s headed. The album draws deliberately from Houston hip-hop: the slab aesthetic runs through the production, DJ Screw’s influence is in the pacing and the atmosphere, and the record closes with a posse cut called “Celebrate the Line” featuring Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Lil Keke, Z-Ro, and Killa Kyleon. The city is in the music. The Houston date is the natural destination.

About Big K.R.I.T.

Justin Scott grew up in Meridian, Mississippi. K.R.I.T. stands for King Remembered in Time. He built his reputation through self-produced mixtapes in the mid-2000s, broke through in 2010 with K.R.I.T. Wuz Here and the single “Country Shit,” which earned a remix from Bun B and Ludacris. Bun B doesn’t co-sign loosely. That co-sign meant something.

He landed on the XXL Freshman Class of 2011. His first two studio albums — Live from the Underground (2012) and Cadillactica (2014) — both debuted at number five on the Billboard 200. After parting with Def Jam, he launched Multi Alumni Records and released 4eva Is a Mighty Long Time in 2017, a double LP that critics pointed to as one of the defining Southern rap records of its decade.

Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz is a return to that footing. Built for volume, designed to move, it’s the K.R.I.T. record that sounds like he’s having fun again. The Houston stop lands at the end of the first week of the tour, after dates in Dallas and Austin.
