Usher Raymond & Chris Brown Bring The R&B Tour to NRG Stadium | October 9, 2026

Three nights at NRG Stadium means something. Houston doesn’t receive three dates on a 33-stop North American stadium tour because the routing worked out — it gets them because the city has been showing up for R&B in ways that promoters notice and count. Don Robey ran Duke and Peacock Records out of Houston from 1949 to 1973, and the tradition of this city as an R&B stronghold runs deeper than nostalgia; it shows in ticket sales, in generational loyalty, in the way a co-headline pairing Usher Raymond and Chris Brown lands here as confirmation more than novelty. First night is Friday, October 9, 2026; showtime 7:00 PM at NRG Stadium.

The tour is called The R&B Tour — plainly named, which is its own kind of confidence — and it covers 33 dates across North America between June 26 and December 11, 2026. Live Nation is producing. Houston draws the longest stand on the itinerary: October 9, October 10, and a third night on November 24.

Usher Raymond has been at or near the center of American R&B for thirty years now. He marked the milestone in 2024 and capped it with a Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance that held its own against any production that stage has seen. His Past, Present, Future tour sold over 1.1 million tickets across 62 sold-out shows. The diamond certification, the multiple Grammys, the 80-million-plus records sold worldwide — those are the box-score lines. The actual argument is the live show, which has earned its reputation over decades of stage work. He is also a Global Citizen Ambassador and founder of the New Look Foundation, which has provided opportunities for youth in underserved communities since 1999.

Chris Brown arrives carrying a different kind of record. His Breezy Bowl XX World Tour concluded last October after grossing roughly $300 million across stadiums in North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom — documented as the highest-grossing tour ever by a solo Black American male artist. He holds the Billboard record for most Hot 100 entries by an R&B singer in the chart’s history and ranks in the top ten across all genres for RIAA multi-Platinum certifications.

Two artists at that scale sharing one bill, in a building that holds north of 72,000 under a retractable roof: the production will be calibrated accordingly.

Tickets and VIP packages — premium seating, backstage access, exclusive merchandise — are available at RaymondAndBrownTour.com. One dollar from each ticket sold goes to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
