The Menzingers have spent twenty years writing the kind of songs people use to explain themselves — and somehow, two decades in, they’re still sharpening the blade. The Everything I Ever Saw North American Tour brings them to Emo’s Austin on Saturday, September 26 for a show with the right lineup for the room: Hot Water Music and Weakened Friends are on the bill, and on a night like this you don’t skip the opener.
The tour opens September 24 in Dallas, hits San Antonio the next night, and lands at Emo’s on the 26th — the Texas run to start a 28-city swing that wraps November 22 in Brooklyn. Doors at 6:00 PM.
About The Menzingers
Formed in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2006 — though they’ve been a Philadelphia band in spirit and geography for years — The Menzingers built a following on autobiographical writing that keeps getting more honest the older they get. On The Impossible Past (2012) was voted Album of the Year by Absolutepunk.net and Punknews.org and still benchmarks the catalog for longtime fans. After The Party (2017) turned the title track into an unlikely wedding anthem.
Everything I Ever Saw is their eighth studio album, dropping July 17, 2026 on Epitaph Records. Produced by Grammy-winning Will Yip at Memory Music Studios in Philadelphia, it’s 11 songs shaped by real upheaval: Greg Barnett’s marriage and fatherhood, Tom May’s divorce and new chapter. Singles “Chance Encounters” and “Nobody’s Heroes” have been out since early 2026 — they land the same way The Menzingers always have: direct, specific, not interested in hedging. Tom May: “Twenty years in and this is the most connected we’ve felt to what we’re doing.”
About Emo’s Austin
Emo’s Austin sits at 2015 E Riverside Dr, across the Colorado River from downtown — opened in 1992 on Red River Street and relocated to East Riverside in 2011. At 1,700 capacity, it’s a working club, the right room for a band that still plays like the record hasn’t come out yet, even when it has. More Austin concerts this fall.
