The detail that stands out on Killswitch Engage’s June 2026 run isn’t just the headliner — it’s who they brought. Machine Head is on this bill, the first time Robb Flynn’s outfit and KSE have actually shared a tour despite running parallel tracks in heavy music for the better part of two decades. When Flynn says he’s genuinely fired up to finally be hitting the road with them, that reads as more than standard tour press. The Houston stop lands at Bayou Music Center on Saturday, June 20, show time 6:30 PM.
About Killswitch Engage
This Consequence, released in February 2025 on Metal Blade Records, is Killswitch Engage’s ninth studio album — and by the band’s own account, the first time since Alive or Just Breathing in 2002 that all five members built a record together in the same room. That’s a specific claim from a band with a specific history: Jesse Leach left after the debut, Howard Jones fronted them through their commercial peak, and Leach returned in 2012. This Consequence is his sixth studio album back with the group.
The five-piece from Western Massachusetts — Leach on vocals, Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel on guitars, Mike D’Antonio on bass, Justin Foley on drums — has spent 25 years as one of metalcore’s most durable acts, accumulating platinum certifications and multiple Grammy nominations across a catalog that still sounds like it means it. The new record includes “Forever Aligned,” “Aftermath,” and “Broken Glass.”
The Support
Machine Head and Havok round out the Houston lineup. Havok is a Colorado thrash outfit. Machine Head is Machine Head — Robb Flynn’s Bay Area institution has been headlining its own tours for decades, and putting them in a support slot here says more about where KSE stands right now than any press release would. This is not a package where the openers are there to fill time before the main event.
Bayou Music Center
Bayou Music Center is a 2,815-capacity theater at 520 Texas Ave in Houston — A-list, mid-tier, the right room for where Killswitch Engage sits in 2026. Not an arena run, not a club date. A booking that fits the band’s actual footprint. VIP upgrades are available, including Pre-Show Pass, Fast Lane Access, and 40 Below Club Access.
Tickets
Doors at 6:30 PM on Saturday, June 20. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
