The tour takes its name from Ramazzotti’s 2025 album, Una Storia Importante / Una Historia Importante — “An Important Story” in English — released November 21, 2025 via Sony Music Entertainment. He unveiled the dual-language project on his 62nd birthday, October 28, 2025. The record combines fifteen tracks: newly written material alongside reimagined versions of career-defining songs, all available in both Italian and Spanish editions. Collaborators include Andrea Bocelli, Elisa, Giorgia, Jovanotti, and Max Pezzali from the Italian music world, alongside Kany García, Carín León, Lali, and Último from Latin American music — a cast that maps Ramazzotti’s reach across both language markets. The bilingual nature of his career predates this album; here it becomes the stated subject, down to the mirrored title.
The tour opened with gala premiere performances at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome in October 2025, drawing more than 30,000 attendees over two nights, and officially launched on February 14, 2026 at the Accor Arena in Paris. The four-leg run spans more than 30 countries across Europe, North America, and Latin America, marking Ramazzotti’s return to North America after a significant hiatus. The North American leg includes Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles; Sugar Land is the Houston date.
