Elevation Worship didn’t build their following on radio, exactly — they built it inside Elevation Church, one Sunday at a time, beginning in Charlotte in 2006, and by the time “O Come to the Altar” and “Jireh” had each gone double platinum and their live sets were filling arenas from Toronto to Pittsburgh, the distance between local worship team and major touring act had been erased. The Elevation Nights Tour is in its fifth year. The fall leg plays the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Thursday, October 15.
About the Show
The evening follows a format the tour has refined across five years: Elevation Rhythm, the youth worship expression of Elevation Church (with their 2025 album Victory Lap in the catalog), opens with what the tour bills as “upbeat songs.” Pastor Steven Furtick, founder of Elevation Church, Grammy-winning songwriter, and New York Times bestselling author, then delivers a message from the main stage. Elevation Worship closes with what the event materials describe as “favorites alongside new releases,” music built on the group’s founding aim of writing “songs for the local church that help others connect to God.”
The new material centers on SO BE IT, a live album released February 20, 2026 and the group’s 18th project. Described at release as “a bold declaration of faith for the church, an affirmation that, when God speaks, his word is final,” the album’s lead single “I Know A Name” features Brandon Lake as co-vocalist and co-writer. That track won the 2025 GMA Dove Award for Worship Recorded Song of the Year and earned Elevation Worship their ninth career Grammy nomination, in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category.
Supporting that new work is a catalog that includes a Grammy win, five Billboard Music Awards, nine GMA Dove Awards, five No. 1 radio singles, and double platinum RIAA certifications on “Jireh,” “O Come to the Altar,” and “Praise.” Chris Brown leads a rotating ensemble of lead vocalists, including Tiffany Hammer, Jonsal Barrientes, Anna Sailors, and Isaiah Templeton. Elevation Nights has set arena attendance records in Toronto and Pittsburgh; the fall circuit opened October 9 in Kansas City and makes Dallas its sixth stop before finishing October 18 in Houston.
