The date is at Bayou Music Center, 8 PM — seventh stop on a 19-city run that launched September 12 in Chicago and closes in Las Vegas at the end of October. First national tour since 2024. The timing is not accidental: the last two years have put him in a different place critically.
About Chief Keef
Chief Keef is 31 and has been in the game for 15 years, which means he broke through as a teenager. The early records were made on Chicago’s South Side, on 54th and 61st Street, and circulated online before most media had a frame for what they were hearing. What came out of those sessions helped define Chicago drill: direct, low-bass, patient in its own way. The sound spread. A decade of rap ran through it.
The 2024 album Almighty So 2 marked a different kind of chapter. It debuted at number 30 on the Billboard 200 and number three on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart, and earned year-end recognition from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, The New Yorker, Complex, and Dazed. Rolling Stone wrote that the album’s most striking element is “his emotional progression.” The Associated Press put it plainly: “Keef has never sounded more polished, more professional — but he stays true to himself.”
The Chief Keef Live 2026 tour draws from his 2026 mixtape Skeletor alongside highlights from that 15-year catalogue, with surprise guest appearances. No support act has been announced for the Houston date.
