Bosco at Emo’s Austin | July 24, 2026

Bosco has been carrying The Marvelous Miss Gender in her notes app for years — a two-act comic-book noir built around her supervillain alter ego, Miss Gender, full of jewel heists, chase sequences, and battles with archenemies, and staged with the kind of production ambition most touring performers never attempt alone. The show she’s been assembling long before she became RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 champion arrives at Emo’s Austin on Friday, July 24.

About Bosco

Seattle-based and built for the long game, Bosco is the RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 finalist (2022) and All Stars 10 champion (2025) — though the television résumé undersells a career that has since logged sold-out runs through Europe, Asia, and Australia, a Las Vegas residency, New York Fashion Week appearances, and a Paramount documentary. She founded Grindhaus, Seattle’s premier drag showcase, and has spent years working as a choreographer, dancer, director, and show designer. The Marvelous Miss Gender — which she directed, co-wrote, and co-produced — is the production that gathers all of it into a single full-length piece.

“This show has been in my notes app for years,” Bosco said. “After performing, producing, and writing on the road, the timing finally felt right to bring it to life.”

The show draws its aesthetic DNA from Batman: The Animated Series, Kill Bill, Elvira, and Pee-wee’s Playhouse — a specific lineage that tells you something about the tone she’s working in: dark enough to carry real edges, campy enough to fully own the comedy. What the stage delivers includes burlesque, lip-sync, high fashion, stand-up comedy, and theatrical spectacle built from giant props, forced-perspective sets, custom-illustrated backdrops, and practical stage effects. The show runs two hours with a twenty-minute intermission and is restricted to audiences 18 and older.

Venue Information

Emo’s Austin, at 2015 E Riverside Dr., is a 1,700-capacity Live Nation room with state-of-the-art lighting and sound infrastructure, built as a music venue but used increasingly for touring productions that require both theatrical rigging and room to move. For a show of The Marvelous Miss Gender‘s physical scope, the room fits. Find more Austin concerts and events on our Austin calendar.
