Rolling Stone tagged Bert Kreischer “Number One Partier in the Nation” while he was still enrolled at Florida State, where he spent six and a half years and developed the story he’d later call “The Machine.” Forbes eventually arrived with a different read: “one of the best storytellers of his generation.” Both characterizations hold, and the distance between them is the arc of a career that made him one of the top-grossing stand-up comedians in the world. He brings the Permission to Party World Tour to the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on Saturday, Oct. 24.
About the Show
The fall leg of the Permission to Party World Tour was announced in April 2026 and runs from September through December, with stops including Knoxville, Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and Chicago. The spring leg ran through June 5 in Duluth, Georgia, before the fall run launched in September; San Antonio gets the Oct. 24 date. Kreischer arrives on the strength of Lucky, his sixth Netflix special, filmed in Tampa where he grew up; it sold out all six tapings within 24 hours of going on sale and entered Netflix’s Top 10 Most Watched when it premiered in March 2025. His previous special, Razzle Dazzle, drew 8.3 million viewers in its debut week. His Netflix catalog spans six specials, including Hey Big Boy, Secret Time, The Machine, and Comfortably Dumb. In January 2026, his fictionalized Netflix comedy series Free Bert premiered, landed in Netflix’s Top 10, and was renewed for Season 2. Kreischer also produced and starred in Sony Pictures’ The Machine, a feature film adaptation of the stand-up story he developed at Florida State. He co-hosts the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast with Tom Segura and, with LeeAnn Kreischer, co-founded Berty Boy Productions in 2022, which manages a media portfolio including the Fully Loaded Comedy Festival. He launched Por Osos Vodka in 2024. In 2024, his touring operation ranked sixth highest-grossing among comedians worldwide, performing only six months of the year. No support acts have been announced.
