& Juliet (Touring) at Majestic Theatre San Antonio | July 10, 2026

Max Martin has been writing the soundtrack to our collective lives for thirty years, and if you have been to any public space — a shopping mall, a wedding reception, a high school gymnasium in 1999 — you have heard his work. Since U Been Gone. Baby One More Time. Roar. Can’t Stop the Feeling. Larger Than Life. The man doesn’t have hits; he has cultural artifacts, songs that feel less written than discovered, like they were always there waiting for someone to find them. The Broadway musical & Juliet corralled thirty of them into a story that is, at its heart, a brazen act of literary revision: what if Juliet didn’t die? What if she put the dagger down, walked out of the Capulet tomb, and decided — as the pop songs have always suggested — that heartbreak is not the end of the story?

The national tour brings that question to the Majestic Theatre San Antonio for a week-long engagement, July 7–12, with evening performances at 7:30 PM CT. The Friday, July 10 curtain is one of six chances to see what has become one of the most-traveled theatrical productions of the decade.

About & Juliet

The show debuted on London’s West End in 2019, transferred to Broadway in 2022, and accumulated more than 1,250 Broadway performances before more than a million theatergoers — numbers that earn the word phenomenon without apology. The book is by David West Read, the Emmy-winning writer behind Schitt’s Creek, which helps explain why the comedy lands as cleanly as it does. Direction is Luke Sheppard’s; choreography belongs to Jennifer Weber. Together they have built a show that earns its spectacle — pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, strobe lighting, loud noises — in a room that was built for exactly this kind of occasion.

The San Antonio cast is led by Fabiola Caraballo Quijada as Juliet, with Joseph Torres as Romeo, CJ Eldred as Shakespeare himself (yes, Shakespeare is a character), Crystal Kellogg as Anne Hathaway, Nico Ochoa as May, Paul Jordan Jansen as Lance, Kathryn Allison as Angélique, and Noah Marlowe as François. The show runs two and a half hours with one intermission.

The Majestic Theatre

The Majestic Theatre has been hosting touring productions since 1929, when it opened as the first fully air-conditioned public building in Texas — a genuine gift to San Antonio audiences in a Texas summer, and still a distinction worth noting nearly a century on. At 224 E Houston Street in downtown San Antonio, the 2,264-seat house gives a touring production of this scale exactly what it requires: the sight lines, the acoustics, and the occasion of simply arriving at the door.

Tickets & Pricing

Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $30 for balcony seats to $630 and above for VIP suite options, with mid-range orchestra seating between $80 and $230. Student and military discounts are available. The show is recommended for audiences 8 and older; children under 4 are not admitted. It contains adult language, strobe lighting, confetti cannons, and pyrotechnics throughout. GalaPro accessibility services are available, and the venue offers step-free access, wheelchair accommodations, and D/deaf and hard-of-hearing services.
