About 6LACK
Born in Baltimore and raised in Atlanta, 6LACK (pronounced “black”) came in with FREE 6LACK in 2016 — a debut that earned RIAA platinum certification and a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album. East Atlanta Love Letter followed in 2018 and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. His third record, Since I Have a Lover, arrived in 2023. All three operated on the same frequency: emotional precision, sparse production, a singer who didn’t perform vulnerability so much as settle into it.
The fourth album, Love Is The New Gangsta, dropped May 22, 2026, through LVRN and Interscope Records. Features include Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Leon Thomas, Odeal, and AZ Chike. Press materials frame it around identity, personal growth, and what they call “radical honesty” — which, given the catalog, lands less like marketing language and more like a fair description of where he’s been all along. The five-time Grammy nominee is touring the anniversary as an intimate run through the full catalog, from the 2016 debut through the new record. Eem Triplin joins as support for the North American leg.
