About This Venue

Iconic Montrose venue since 1978. Started as a gay bar central to Houston's gay rights movement; evolved into an alternative dance club + concert venue. 850 standing / 300 seated. Books touring goth/industrial/post-punk/alternative acts (Bauhaus heirs, synthpop, etc.) plus weekly dance nights. Tickets via venue site — no TM presence. Bandsintown only.
