South Congress's most legendary room and arguably the most internationally famous small club in Austin. Opened 1957 as a private supper club; transformed through burlesque, dive-bar, and punk eras into temple of Austin roots, rockabilly, and country. Junior Brown, Dale Watson, Heybale!, Toni Price, and James McMurtry residencies. Independent (Steve Wertheimer). Continental Club Gallery is the small upstairs room.
