Knocked Loose is booking outdoor amphitheaters now. The Hive Mind Tour lands at Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park on Thursday, November 5, with Denzel Curry co-headlining and Superheaven and Boundaries opening. It’s a 5,000-capacity room in downtown Austin and the second-to-last US stop on a 24-date North American run before the whole thing wraps in Mexico City on November 8. For a hardcore band out of Oldham County, Kentucky, the scale of this says something.
About Knocked Loose
The band has been building steadily on Pure Noise Records since forming in 2013. You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To (2024) is where things crystallized — an 87 on Metacritic, the top of the UK Hard Rock & Metal chart, reviews without hedging. Kerrang! called it one of the best albums of the year. The Guardian described it as “an indulgently rich record that keeps revealing more on double-digit listens.” This summer, before the fall run, they’re supporting Metallica in Europe.
The tour takes its name from “Hive Mind,” a standalone single released February 10, 2026 — the first new music since the 2024 album, built around Denzel Curry. The track opens in pure hardcore before pulling in 808s, scratches, and a trap beat; Curry delivers over Knocked Loose’s groove-metal rhythms before one final breakdown. Lyrically, it goes after conformity — the individual who absorbs a group’s identity and surrenders independent thought. Frontman Bryan Garris on how the collaboration came together: “This is something we’ve talked about doing for a long time. We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.”
Curry has been working at genre borders since at least his 2019 cover of Rage Against the Machine’s “Bulls on Parade.” This pairing is a logical follow-through, not a stunt.
About the Venue
Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park is a 5,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater at 1401 Trinity St in downtown Austin, set inside an 11-acre public park along the Waterloo Greenway. General admission is on the Great Lawn; reserved sections sit up front, including wheelchair-accessible areas. It’s become a reliable stop for touring acts that have outgrown the clubs but aren’t quite at arena scale — which is exactly where Knocked Loose sits right now.
