About Dominic Fike
Fike is from Naples, Florida, which matters mostly to say: nothing about his sound is rooted in one place. He’s a genre-crosser — rap, pop, R&B, and whatever sits between them — who started releasing music to SoundCloud and landed a deal with Columbia Records off a 2018 debut EP, Don’t Forget About Me, Demos. The single “3 Nights” reached the top ten in multiple countries. His 2020 album What Could Possibly Go Wrong charted in the US and Australia. Then in 2022 he joined the cast of HBO’s Euphoria Season 2, playing Elliot — and that role substantially widened who was paying attention.
His 2023 album Sunburn followed. But the most relevant work heading into this tour is Rocket, a mixtape he dropped in August 2025: 12 tracks, 26 minutes, built around fatherhood, identity, and the friction of being very famous and still not quite settled. It’s more introspective than his earlier radio-friendly records. Critics praised the honesty. Standout tracks “Sandman,” “Great Pretender,” and “David Lyons” are the record’s core. Current singles “Babydoll” and “White Keys” are both active on the Billboard Hot 100.

Moody Amphitheater is part of the 11-acre Waterloo Park redevelopment in Austin, designed by Thomas Phifer & Partners. The stage-house is steel and translucent; the Great Lawn runs more than 38,000 square feet. Capacity is 5,000. The venue is consistently noted for its sound quality — unusual for an outdoor space at this scale. For a tour billed as intimate, this is about as large as the word will stretch, and still within range where every section of the lawn connects to the stage.
