Arch Enemy at House of Blues Houston | October 12, 2026

Arch Enemy is mid-answer on one of the bigger questions in melodic death metal: what does the band sound like now that Lauren Hart has replaced Alissa White-Gluz, who departed in fall 2025 after an 11-year run? The European summer shows — Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Paris — came first. The Wrath Across North America 2026 co-headline tour brings that question west, and Houston gets the October 12 date at House of Blues.

About the Show

The tour pairs Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder as co-headliners, with Septicflesh, Crypta, and Thrown Into Exile filling out a supporting bill that would headline most club nights on its own. Five acts — which is why the show starts at 5 p.m.

Hart’s arrival was framed as something more than a personnel change — described on archenemy.net as “a powerful rebirth” following the Blood Dynasty cycle. The band’s bio calls Hart’s presence one of “raw, unbridled energy and a commanding vocal ferocity,” the language of a reset rather than a swap. She had fronted Once Human before joining Arch Enemy after White-Gluz’s departure. Her studio debut with the band was the single “To The Last Breath” in February 2026, a track founder and guitarist Michael Amott described as “a reckoning…about seeing through deception and dismantling the illusion of control.” Blood Dynasty (2025), the band’s eleventh studio album since Amott founded the group in Sweden in 1996, is what this lineup is touring behind. On the tour announcement, Amott put it plainly: “An exceptional lineup, built for those who live and breathe pure fucking metal.”

The Black Dahlia Murder arrives behind Servitude (2024, Metal Blade Records), their tenth studio album, which drew strong reviews for compressing melodic death metal into a tight 33-minute frame. Drummer Alan Cassidy offered his own take on the co-headline: “I’d take my arch enemy to see The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy!” The full run covers 32 cities from October 5 through November 19.
